Just heard back from EY that they will not proceed with an offer 😞 Receuiter said I did great in interviews but the market condition change/lack of pipeline was the concern. Recruiter wanted to keep the communication open for next year as they expect things to change by then, but all sounds a bit like a nicely wrapped rejection. Disappointed but I guess I should focus on the next interviews with Deloitte and KPMG!

Is it ok to tell your boss/job that you're looking to transition to product, and tell recruiters you're looking for roles in product before you've quit your other job? Or should I wait until I get an offer before telling anyone. I don't want to lose my job or disappoint my boss but product is where I want to end up and I'm working towards that.
