Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Highlight leadership roles and say your up for promotion to manager
125 is low for manager, isn't it? Should be 140+
Swing for the fences. You're worth is what they're willing to pay you
Better have a good reason to say why you want to leave other than the title bump.
I'd be surprised if they don't try to bring you in at SC, rather than Manager, at least for a trial year. Pretty common practice to bring in level lower. ~125 SC1 would be solid, and much easier for you to be successful
It's too low for a manager IF you have an MBA from a target school. If not, you don't command that much as a 1st ur senior. Won't happen.
I'm at 103 right now. Said my expectations are at 125. They said they can work that out.

Sounds like you're aiming too high too fast. How are you going to sell $2.5M in the next 6 months?
At least at Deloitte, all MBA (as long as it is a target school) comes in at the same salary, and it's a bit higher than 125... more like ~140-147 depending on area (I'm speaking within consulting)
Don't settle for less than 140... I got low balled thinking 140 is too much as well..
Expect to be offered a senior role
@Marlo I was just about to post a comment to state that your comment has no merit, just for the sake of being contradictory. I decided not to - be the change you want to see in the world #makeFBgreatagain #altruistic
Your resume must have said something they liked.
Any idea what kind of pay bump you'd be looking at?
They must have liked your experience or something about your education. Don't stress out, say the big four are pretty much the same, you are looking for growth opportunities. What is the pay increase? If it is less than 20, not sure it is justfied
Depends on where you are located
125 seems a bit low
Usually recruiters try to lowball. Do you have some specific skill set that you are bringing to table.
I mean given that i'm at 103 right now and if I wait until end of year I might possibly get promoted and I don't expect the new pay to be more than 120. Don't you guys think 140 is a bit too much to ask from where i'm at right now?
