Just started j3. This is a crazy amount of money and so doable! It’s even year end which is busy for my industry… I’m coming from consulting so this is a breeze. All that to say, if I can do it you can do it too. I read a lot of negative things on here and the impending doom about workload, taxes, and ethical judgements but stay humble and get yours.

I also have 3 jobs. It takes a lot of scheduling, but is doable if you have the right jobs. Two are for companies & one is my own business that has revenues over $1mil. I am trying to off load one, just trying to hurry up and pay off my house.

I don't make $1mil, my business grosses over $1mil in revenue. Just giving an idea that it's not super small. My business is in a construction industry. My husband works in the business with roughly 10 employees. But I manage & run it.

I'm in cybersecurity for the other 2. Both are task based jobs, but 1 is higher in level. Almost to the level in priority job, that I won't be able to have another job without reporting it. Then I will have to let job #2 go. I can always keep my own business, as not in the industry.

I need a J2🥲😫

J3 seems tough. I feel overwhelmed with 2 of them!! How do you manage it?

like

You can do it! Some things that have helped.. Calendar management. Prioritizing work and meetings which one you want to keep, which means not being THE best at one or two of them. And remembering your why. I need to provide for my family and would like to purchase a home soon.

Considering leaving my agency after just a couple months in pharma - feeling underutilized and stuck.

My question: do I leave this stint off my resume entirely? List the parent agency instead of the wellness arm? Pass it off as freelance? Not trying to be dishonest I just know this experience probably isn’t relevant when going out for non-pharma jobs.

I would like to hear from any UX Program Managers who are willing to share their experience.

How difficult is it to juggle a remote role with a hybrid role?

My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I'm new to the overemployed movement, so I'm evaluating the feasibility of holding onto the hybrid role and the remote position.

I really want to get a second job but I am scared of losing my current one. Both companies are in same field, although not direct competitors so I know it’s technically “not allowed” however, this is the only way for me to get that $$ since I am not paid all that well.

Of course I won’t tell a single friend/coworker. Only my partner. And I don’t post work stuff on social media.
