Just tuned into a conversation I wish I hadn't. Found out that the girl I'm crushing on at work has a massive crush on my work neighbor. Now I look at him with envy. Not that I should have pursued a relationship at work anyway, but it'd have been nice if she had a liking for someone I didn't have to see every hour of the day.

Tough luck, man. But hey, like you said, you're better off not spending your time trying to be with someone at work. So now you at least have a reason to move on and channel your energy elsewhere.

Time to find a new job, where the pretty girls are crushing on you instead of your other hot co workers. Turn in that resignation today. Good luck in your job hunt!

Chin up. Maybe if you get the courage to ask her out she might still go out with you finding it interesting you were interested in her. And she may find herself attracted to you after that.

Date someone else. She's clearly not into you, and you've been given the opportunity to move on. I suggest you take it. She's a lady, not a brand new car.

Hey virrllon, well fortunatly I have NEVER fan into that problem because I have also been crushing on a guy at work only to realize he actually likes my supervisor. (I HATE MY SUPERVISOR) so the only reasonble thing to do make a fake recomdation letter to get prometed. Anyways shed been in Rusia for the past 3 months while I not am a mother to my cowoker! 😚✌️ (it’s a complex situation… turns out his dad was aftualy hotter than him..) 👉🏼👈🏼

Gotta be better places to meet people than at work, no shade if you do but works already complicated enough without bringing a relationship into it

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. I’m not sure if he’s changing the meaning or isn’t communicating what he’s envisioning or what but it’s embarrassing to be called out like that, and to have people think you’re the dumb 23 year old.

I was recently promoted, and now part of my team report to me. I'm now able to see their pay rates and I am honestly so disappointed in the company. Especially since we just gave annual raises in Feb, plus we can all see where the money is going and it's not to the employees. Makes me sick

I made a couple errors at a new job. An important document to be distributed had wrong information on it, which was proofread by 2 other people. Then a couple of typos in emails, the person micromanaging me told me to send out but I didn’t fix the errors. Failed to meet a deadline but completed 95%. I was written up over all this last week, fired this week. There’s a lot more to this but I think it’s because the DM doesn’t like me.
