Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

However I have not received any email yet.
Can someone confirm which team sends the final offer coz the HR is saying that he has processed everything from his side.??EY

I don't see why he is so well respected.
I love hosting get togethers at my house or events out, but I have half a dozen friends who ALWAYS reply maybe and won't actually commit, then decide minutes before. How can I change this behavior? It makes me feel crappy, like they are waiting for the next best option, and also makes it impossible for me to prepare (e.g., figuring out how much food to make for a dinner party).
Tilt is great for large events where flakiness is a problem. Everyone who wants to attend has to commit to pay something ($5, $10, whatever). The event only "tilts" if the prerequisite number of people commit, and then they are charged before the event happens. So if they flake they're out $X. I've found it helps force people to decide if they actually want to attend, and lowers the likelihood of the last minute flake
BA1 do you know what the term hubris means?
Short answer: you don't
@ey1 he's incredibly charismatic. I feel like I'm that charismatic when I have a beer in my hand at happy hour. I don't understand why I don't get to be a lecturer on the leadership/business/generation gap/anything o feel like ranting about circuit. He's like an unfunny comedian!
@ey2 yes and since you're asking I either have too much or not nearly enough
