Keep in mind I recently (5months ago) switched service lines. I have two projects im taking over from a high performer who is being rotated off. He was MIA this week. Unfortunately him being MIA coincided with both the projects having fairly complex deliverables due. I did my best to help out - both senior mgrs kinda took it over. Should I have done more ?

Way too many variables on that. But in hindsight if you needed to leverage the former person's knowledge it probably should have been addressed sooner than the week the deliverable was due.

So more a lesson in planning - but we don't know how much you knew of that deliverable being due so not casting judgement or anything

No reason to dwell on it too much. Reflect, learn, move on for improvement going forward

Unless the senior manager gave you negative feedback then I would not lose sleep about it

Do you think you did the best you could?

Then you’ve gotten nothing to worry about.

Especially when someone is new to an industry/service line/engagement etc, the effort is often more important than the end product

Hey ATL fish, is there a negative connotation to Chamblee vs Brookhaven. From a home buy perspective, I am seeing better deals, newer homes in Chamblee. Both are ITP. But I get the sense that Chamblee has a "working class" element to it, especially with respect to Buford Hwy corridor. Any thoughts?

Hi fishes,

Just need your idea/experience (if any) on the following query:
I already have an offer with CTS.
I am also getting offers from other MNCs, but for other locations.
If I wish to join CTS only, but want to negotiate with them, on the latest offer I have with an expectation that they atleast match the same amount (if not offering me more).
So just wanted to know, whether at all they would provide me a revised offer or would they be strict enough to let me go & not negotiating at all?

Hi tax 🐠,

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). However, would it be advantageous to have him file for his own tax return (he stays with my parents and doesn't have his own proof of residency via bills). If so, can he get PTC if his income is 0?
