It’s pre school. Relax
My bad. I meant Pre-K. A 5 year old is smart enough to notice what’s going on
Move on. But honestly there’s an early child care crisis in this country. The grass will not be greener somewhere else in less you almost double whatever you pay now.
I’d be pissed about missing the day trip. How did your kid feel?
Not happy obviously. They felt I lied about registering and didn’t really want them to go.
I would talk to the person that runs it, and probably start looking elsewhere unless you really love the teachers. if they can’t get their stuff together running a mailing list, who knows what else is going on. There are plenty of childcare options out there, and its pre-k so no big deal moving.
They messed up. They seem to be missing key organizational skills. With so many screw ups you should look elsewhere.
Would 100% escalate to pre-school leadership, it is worth a calm discussion about your concerns and determine how to move forward together.
I hear the comments about it being just pre-school and you should relax but you are paying for this. If your yard person didn’t do a fertilizer treatment, you would talk to them. It isn’t like this is situation where it is causing your kid to fall behind but it does show a repeat behavior of lack of attention to detail and that is very concerning when it comes to children.
There are many other options. Talk to them and see if they get any better (after explaining the reasoning and steps they are taking). Else nice your kid out.
