Just found out that my favorite aunt, who claimed I was her “favorite” niece, chose to leave all her valuables to her other two nieces who never visited or called her once in the last ten years. My aunt passed away suffering from cancer last year and didn’t have her own kids. I was there by her side throughout her battle. I still wish I had done more, made her life easier. I probably sound petty, but a part of me is forcing me to re-evaluate every interaction I ever had with her.

How was you memorial day weekend?

I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? Do I push more for the person I want or will I cause an issue with the hiring manager? How do I get her to see this person’s value?

Whoever said bumble bbfs was great couldn’t have been more right. It’s weird I’ve l been confident in how I look in the last few years but my personality and likability was put into question but instantly I seem to be receiving the friendship attention I like, 50+ likes by 4am on the first day, signed up at 2am.
