What do big four federal healthcare associates (with 2 years work experience in healthcare industry) make in the advisory practice?

I received an offer for $74k as underwriting analyst. Company is based out of DC. Is $74k a good offer? Or should I negotiate for more. 6 years in the industry. 5 as an account manager/underwriting assistant

Hi, I got offer from Sap labs blore. My joining is in August mid. The team im going to join is CPI( cloud platform integration) . Do anyone know about the team and growth in terms of tech stacks and all. Also heard currently there is hiring freeze, will it affect my onboarding?

Has anyone asked for a hike in the same company without any other offer in hand by letting them know that you deserve more (providing proof of work & awards)

Hello friends, looking at a JP opportunity and hopefully going into the offer process after today’s interview. What I need help is understanding the comp structure in non front office roles ? In Goldman we have PATC ( per annum total comp ) which is nothing but base + “promised” bonus % + RSU.. how do you have total comp defined in JP ? the bonus also a % of base and almost agreed upon ? Example my bases is 200k and bonus is 25 % etc ?

I’ve been working for a small investment firm for about a year and am having some issues with my boss. We have a weekly check-in but he’s ALWAYS 2-3 hours late, or skips the meeting altogether without warning. He also never replies to any of the emails I send. I already spoke with him about these issues, but things haven’t really changed. I really like the work I do but I’m starting to feel frustrated about the situation. Any advice? Currently 23, first year post-grad. I’m currently putting about 20% into Roth 401k, nothing into Roth IRA. Originally had traditional 401k but just switched current / future contributions to Roth 401k. Company 401k match only 6%.

A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). I feel like my job isn’t enough because skills aren’t considered as transferable outside this field.

We use Deloitte India for a number of parts of our delivery. Recently I have seen some unethical practices that violate labor laws and do not align with Deloitte principles. My manager says it isn’t my problem as they are a vendor but I can’t help thinking I have an ethical responsibility to do something. Any advice as to how to approach this without being fired?
