Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
What's next after healthcare for you all?
Hi There, I am a finance and analytics professional with ~7 years of experience in domains like FP&A, OTC, Process transformation and Healthcare analytics. I have hands on experience on Google tools like spreadsheets, Google data studio and other internal tools. Have also worked on multiple Google projects with the PPG team in Google US.
It would be super helpful if somebody from Google can refer me. Please comment below if somebody can and I'll add them over LinkedIn and share the details.

What would be the best health insurance option if you don’t have dependents? (Asking as a new hire)
ctd. for a family of 3, soon to be 4. I anticipate maxing out our deductible and probably a good amount of family OOP, depending on how the hospital bills for baby's stay. Had a c-section last time with a 5 day hospital stay. I'd rather just pay more every month and see fewer OOP expenses, but does it really shake out in favor of the PPO plan?
If your goal is to minimize the out of pocket costs then yes the most expensive one is the simplest and least stressful. The problem is that the premiums are high, especially when you add spouse and kids. If you have a relatively healthy year you could have saved 50% or more with the HDHP. If you have a bad year, there is an out of pocket cap that combined with premiums isn't that much more than you would have paid with the expensive plan. I just gave up on trying to figure it out and am maxing out HSA.
The healthfund is somewhere in between but Id rather have a HSA than FSA.
