L.E.K. might have taken a good step to restart a referral bonus. ZS already gives the “referral bonus” if we refer somebody ‘that we directly know’, and if that person “makes it through all interviews and gets hired by ZS”. How could a seasoned L.E.K. consultant refer somebody to the firm without knowing well? Is the “referral bonus” really high, that everyone is racing for handing out referrals, like “throwing the hook to see if we catch any big fish”? Or is it due to “severe understaffing”?

I am an account manager. More on the Operation side than sales. I help manage day to day needs of our client, develop training docs, and usually the go to for the coordinators when they can’t solve any issues in the account.
