I'm gonna do my own, after seeing local florists charging 6k+... I grow my own flowers and love making bouquets. Will see how it goes 😅
I wish I could do that!
Mine were $17k and I adored them but looking back idgaf lol. I could afford it so it didn’t matter but still
Can we see pictures 😅
We did wholesale in DC. Probably about 3-4k total for a lot of flowers but it requires some serious help to get everything ready for wedding day
Thanks!!!
I did Poppy Flowers and was happy with it

Looks like Poppy teams you up with a local designer, had I known about it might have gone that route. I think this is similar to what I did by finding a small designer who had the wholesale contacts, only they do the hook up for you. If you have a pinterest board of things you like, they should be able to design something for you.
Quotes in my area were 7k+. I’ll be ordering bulk and doing them myself for less than 1k
Leaning Costco or Trader Joe’s (some you can speak with their manager and they can order extra). There’s also a few wholesale flower companies that I’m researching. Costco would likely be easiest though. I use their flowers for stuff all the time just never needed to order bulk I just buy a ton of their pre done bouquets and take them apart ha

I just kept calling and networking and found a florist who had a $3500 minimum ( including tax and service) . delivering to two venues and moving flowers from church to reception and come take it all away afterwards.
No way could I DYI. But yes lots of people have 7k minimums. Keep calling. No idea how those online spots work. If you are thinking DYI with help. Think about asking one of the people at the local grocer or Michaels who do arrangements. Lot's of talent out there. Think outside of the box.

are you in Houston? I found two here in that price range.
Flowers were important to me since they’ll be visible in a lot of photos so I splurged on a local florist. So worth it though because they knew the venue well and were really able to customize everything. Spent ~10k but no regrets!

This also will depend on your venue and how much decorating is needed. Also remember a lot of what you envision that isn't flowers....especially incorporating candles, often drappung, hanging elements are in that budget.
