Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

PSA: With tax season is around the corner I just wanted to share that CashApp (Square) allows you to e-file individual Federal return and 1 state return for free (with NO income limit), and the best part is it supports ALL essential forms for stocks like 1099s and Sch D (gain loss on stock including crypto). I have heard they may ask you to leave immediately if you are going to a competitor. When you go to a potential client they treat you differently. I would not mention where you are going as you are not obligated to tell them. Think about when you want your last day to be and stick with it. I ended up staying 4 weeks instead of 2 because I didn’t want to leave my team in a bind. Do what is right for you!
Yes - You need to tell them when giving your notice. Depending on the circumstances they may have you turn in your stuff immediately since you’re going to a competitor. It’s honestly in your best interest to tell them if you want to get paid for those two weeks and not work.
I mean they will find out regardless when you update LinkedIn right? It’s also just going to be awkward when they inevitably ask and you don’t answer.
If you aren’t leaving for the exact same service line (e.g., audit to audit), they probably won’t terminate you on the spot (especially if you have a lot of work on your plate).
Even if they ask you to turn in your stuff immediately they still pay out your two weeks
Yes. I have experience with this. They will ask you to leave the day you give notice but will pay you out the two weeks you would have otherwise worked.
