Looking for some career advice: Working as a Wealth Mgmt Sr Port Mgr at a bank with TC at about $180K, mid cost of living city, CFA/MBA with almost 20 years at the bank (~15 years in department).

I don't think I want to go into management due to headaches and moderate pay increases or go somewhere else to start from scratch. I could honestly see myself being in this seat for another 20+ years and taking in a nice salary, 401K match, etc. Would that be lazy?

Know this is a long shot, but if I’m counseled out of one MBB, what are the chances I could get an equivalent job at another? And if not another MBB, thinking that a T2 or B4 could be possible? I’m not even sure I want to stay in consulting, but also feel like I didn’t get a fair shot at it

How do you count years of experience? Lets say you were a web master for 5 years. Then you transitioned into a proper UX role and did that for 5 years. Is that 10 years of experience or 5?

Does anyone have an idea or range of salaries for PIMCO? As either an Associate or Senior Associate? i’m looking to transition back to CA from Dallas. I’m currently at goldman.

Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore. Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?
