Total comp for SM can be up to 200, director can be 300+ but won’t really exceed 400 unless extremely special circumstances.
Keep in mind, US firms charge out at way higher rates than Canadian. I.e. GTA partners will be $1000-1200/hr, whereas the US is much higher in HCOL cities. Therefore there’s way more to give to employees.
Directors 300+? Wow

SM level at PWC as per Glassdoor is 119-154 K total comp for canada
Yes, based in Toronto.
More important than the % is the chance that it actually. Gets paid. I am a SM with 15% bonus but it hasn’t been paid at all the last 2 years. Percentage doesn’t matter if there is zero chance of it getting paid.
What?? Do you work for a big 4? I’ve never heard of a Canadian big 4 telling you a) that your bonus is 15% (or providing any specific value) as part of your role/contract, and b) then failed to pay it out.
Big 4 bonuses vary each year based on firm performance, team performance, and individual performance. To be honest, with the exception of 2020, I have never heard of an SM not receiving a bonus at all in the big 4, with the amount of work we do. Maybe it’s only $3k, maybe it’s $15k, maybe it’s higher - but if you receive nothing, that may be a hint that you are about to be shown the door.
