What type of commercial? Multi family, office, retail, hospitality? What’s your prior experience?

I would look for an underwriting analyst at a DUS/Optigo lender (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac). It’s a solid first experience in multi family and potentially sets you up for originations or investment sales later on, and they have no issue hiring people with no experience into those positions. Agency loans are somewhat vanilla when it comes to multi family (with exceptions), but Fannie and Freddie are such a big part of the market you’ll get a lot of deal flow. Most of the big guys are in Chicago too. Walker and Dunlop, Berkadia, etc

I’ve been at the bedside for less than a year, but I’ve done a lot of internships at some big medical centers and involvement both in and after undergrad. Hi everybody,

Looking for some insight/curious to hear how others would handle this situation:

I have an offer I want to accept; I was trying to negotiate for a signing bonus… but they’re not budging.

The issue is, the start date is in a month and I’m up for a promotion in a week at my current company. I would like to leave before I get promoted, I think it would be pretty low of me to accept and promptly quit.

Not the new employer’s problem? Or can/should I try to leverage this?

Just got engaged 😊😊. Need some advice. We both have two homes already.
1. Is it always better to get a third home ?
2. If yes, is better to rent out or sell the other two homes? Both homes mortgages are $1250 & $1450 and 1500 sqft & 2200 sqft respectively. Both homes are 3 bedrooms.
3. If we are getting a third home what price range is recommended?

We are based in Houston and HHI is going to be $380,000(including bonus & rsu) & $300,000 base. We are 27F & 30 M and no kids yet.
