Looking to pivot into strategy consulting, have only 8 months experience with a prior in-house role and MBA. Happy to drop down a few pegs to make the switch but struggling to gain any traction with job applications (I am mid-40s). Any ideas?

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Negotiating a settlement. I’m at $10k, opposing counsel is at $20k. My client won’t go higher than $15k. OC has come down to 17.5k and says his client won’t budge from that. In my opinion, if I’m looking to leave it is because I’m unhappy and excited about the new role I’ve been offered. I have been with the company for six years now starting as lead graphic designer working my way to the production manager. since becoming the production manager two years ago I am responsible for 4 large format printers and 1 vinyl plotter. I’m wearing too many hats but I love what I do. I would love to be a remote graphic designer but I don’t know where to start. Any suggestions?
