With a CFP and six years in financial services working for a retirement plan administrator, I started as an associate advisor (financial planning type role) at a larger RIA at $85k base salary plus $5k bonus. 5 years later and base is $120k with $30-40k bonus. In Texas.
$50-60k
Why would anyone do that?
I guess that would work for an entry-level FA
Around 60k to start.
That is low
Isn’t that the minimum required base salary for NY State Financial advisors by law ?
I think $48 is the NY minimum for exempt employees
Depends on the RIA. Some people get scared off by the term”salary” but sometimes the salary recalculated quarterly and equates to 50% of their revenue
