Lucky me, I ended up working with the mean girl clique at work today. We're all adults in our 30s, when do these people grow out of this type of bullying?

They won't. If you're lucky in ten years one of them may grow into their empathy and this entire period of reactionary revolting behavior will have been nuked.

If they are in their 30’s and still doing that stuff they never will.

I’m a young(ish) male running a private practice. Been with the group a year and a half and haven’t exactly gelled with some of the older employees. We’ve made tremendous financial improvements but in a meeting last night one of the physicians stated, in front of me, maybe we shouldn’t have hired a young guy to run the practice….I can’t think of a more passive aggressive way to ask someone to leave. Thoughts?

Thinking of switching employers. Do you think bigger retail stores (the ones that have several locations) are easier or harder to work at than little hole-in-the-wall grocery stores (which is all I've ever done)? It seems like the larger chain stores would have more downtime, but I'm wondering if anyone could give some input.
