If it's a formal invite to the office, you can always email and ask for the dress code.
If it's your company, just ask your mentor at work.
Depends on the situation - E.g. If going into a FS client, you may dress up more
But totally - Black pants or slacks with a button down shirt. Sports coat optional

What is the trip for and where will your meetings be? It will make a difference in what is appropriate to wear. For example, if you're headed to client meetings in Zurich, I would wear a full suit with a tie and nice shoes. If, instead, you were headed to an internal off-site meeting at a resort in the Caribbean, appropriate attire would be very different.
