Maybe I’m blind or something but was Elon an option on the ballot?

I don’t remember voting him in.

I’m humored by the comments condemning Musk but not upset about taxpayer dollars being wasted as such an unreal
Amount . Seems they are more upset about public display of fraud, waste, and abuse than improper use of our tax dollars. And Musk has no power except to bring the waste to light.

So… why not start with the entity in the federal government with the largest budget which has also failed audit after audit?

Is it “reeeeeaaalllllyyy” about saving us money?

like

That makes two of us. I'm glad we've got someone who's reasonable and completely unbiased like him dictating policy. This is truly what democracy is all about.

likefunnysmart

Wow back to school for you, the only person the entire populous votes for is the president.

like

I don't care who uncovers the waste, but I'm glad it's being brought to light!!! Alarming that no one has audited the money before!!

likefunny

Not at all alarming when you realize the people who should be auditing are the ones who are benefiting from it not being audited..

like

He was put in place by our new president. Finally someone who can be unbiased and find ridiculous and unbearable spending idiocy.

likefunny

So you believe every government employee was voted in? LMAO

like

Everything he is auditing was done by people who were not on ballots.

like

You didn't vote Kamala Harris in the primaries either.

To be fair.

like

Ridiculous, not to mention wrong. We voted for Kamala as second on the ticket in the primaries. Do tell, when did you vote for Vance in the primaries?

like

That's what happens when you are the largest campaign donor. Ugh.

I’m all in for audits, especially the defense department which has failed the last 7? Audits. The more we as citizens are aware of the waste, the more we can get it corrected. As for USAID, it’s a slush fund and cover all. It’s used by NGO’s and such to shield from vision and should be dissolved. Dept of Education as well. We have state run Dept of Ed. Musk has been welcomed to audit the dept of transportation to find and eliminate waste and upgrade weak systems. Why is this a bad thing? I want my taxes to stay in my country.

like

He's appointed! Do you know what that is. Ugh

likefunny

Exactly. Be careful throwing stones. You are not perfect.

likefunny

Yes, no accountability and the cut are to Congressionally appropriated funds. Trumpists are naive to believe he has no self-interest in destroying institutions even genuine conservatives like Reagan supported. USAID provided overwhelming soft power behind American leadership. We're just abandoning that to China. The American century is over.

like

China can have it. USAID just another circus.
