MBB folks - what does your typical week look like (generally speaking). What time do u start ur day? what time do u end it? Do you have a ton of weekend work?

I'm currently Working at ntt data business solutions. I'm quite underpaid with about 57k goal salary. - 52k fix and 5k Bonus. With 3years expierence in sap consulting mm/ sd 5 years as a key User in a DAX Company and a M.Sc. in IT Mamagement.
I'm thining about apply for a job at the SAP directly or going into a supply chain role.
My goal is a good work life Balance, traveling at least 1 time a Month international and a salary of about 85k.
Any Suggestion?

How to start prepping for MBB firms for associate roles with no prior consulting experience starting from recruiter screening call. the only thing i know is case in point book

ZS fish, possible to come in and work 50-55 hours a week? Or should I expect 60+? Interested in firm & work but just can’t keep working from 9-10 every day anymore. Wondering if I should apply or just hang up the hat and go to industry

Does MBB do market research projects? Or projects involving market research at least?

Is your compensation and performance reviewed automatically on a regular/annual basis? I don’t get either of these unless I ask for it! Found out others in our company experienced the same as me. Lowball Salaries trending as a common pain point

I like my team and work life balance, during the pandemic was very beneficial to my wellbeing. However feel I owe it to myself now, to be earning what I’m worth in the market (I’m underpaid by a fair bit) especially with inflation costs

One of my junior associates recently resigned and I've been trying to make an exit myself for several months now. The job market has been really competitive but I am getting closer to getting a new job and moving on. The firm culture isn't great and work-life balance is non existent. My physical and mental health have been suffering, so I really don't think I could stay. How did you avoid the guilt trips from Partners/Senior staff trying to get you to stay?
