Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

So 23/24 year olds are very commonly the most senior non-partner resource on a project with a 3-4 person team?
This is part of the reason the EM role is so tough but insanely amazing for preparing young talent to go straight to Director+ roles in industry.
There’s also an intense support network for the EMs. Yes they are running the show for delivery, but we almost always have content experts, associate partners, and knowledge specialists supporting.
Based on above, this is scarily fast. I wonder how McKinsey makes it work. Do they truly have amazing people who can somehow do this so young and appear an industry expert + mature /credible face in front of senior client? Or do you have very heavy support from above? The projects I have lead have had close to no coverage from above. I can't imagine myself doing this 2 years earlier than I did (maybe I'm much less talented though).
Most of the 25 year-old EMs I’ve been around are out of this world impressive in many ways. There is support when needed - both in person, but definitely remote. I’ve never seen a situation where we set folks out to fail
Today in NA you can do it in 3-4 years easily. I know of cases who do it in 2-3. Since the last couple of years they have done away with the ASC role for undergrad so from BA you become senior BA in year 3 and then can become EM at anypoint depending on when you’ve met the inflection points for EM.
BA—>EM, there’s an SBA step there but that’s automatic at 2 year mark.
Normal: 2.5-3 years
Fast: 2-2.5 years
When a BA is promoted to EM, are they on the same salary scale as an MBA promoted to EM?
Only EM designations.
