Hello, I have an interview coming up with Facebook (Meta) and its a manager role leading a global process team with multiple people reporting to the role.I have been told by the recruiter that Meta is fairly flat and the title does not really describe its seniority. I wanted to calibrate my experience to the role, would anyone have advice regarding levels at Meta and any other advice for an interview with them? Thanks

Overthinking is the best strategy
It depends how good you are. But hey, I didn’t even get to case so you’re on the right track! Good luck kid
No. And it actually is around 24 hours, our recruiting team is pretty snappy.
I was told it was an assessment and if I passed then I’d go into the in-person interview
No danger in following up. Being sincerely interested in how you did is a good thing. Just don’t act all entitled and seem PO’d that they didn’t immediately call you.

Thanks EY Does McKinsey ever not provide a response? In other words, if I haven’t heard back within a few days then I shouldn’t expect to.,..
Unless you’re talking about the freebie training case call - that one is just practice for you.
Thanks!! It’s been more than 24 hours!
I’m referring to the case assessment telephone interview with an alum
Hmm.. a lot of folks are out this week, maybe follow up on Monday then
Oh that.. isn’t that just the training one?
I had strep and flopped that one, I don’t think it’s a big deal
But yeah, things might have changed.. try following up Monday
I thought I flopped too. I just did the best and was proud that I pursued it. The case interview is a bit daunting for non business majors
consultant OP - were you interviewing for an experienced hire role? The Alumni telephone case is a pre-screen, usually for experienced hires.
Yes M2 - you’re right on 👍 - I am interviewing for an experienced hire slot. HR referred to it as a telephone assessment case interview. I had gone through the group case workshop as well as phone case coaching
Usually, you should hear back in 24 hours. Considering it was a holiday week - if you don’t hear back by Monday a quick follow up email couldn’t hurt
