McKinsey Implementation fishes: what does first year’s comp like for associate level? The recruiter quoted me 165K base (which I expected), but total comp is only 180K as “expected amount.” I was under the impression that comp is the same as generalist, is that true or MI pays lower bonus?

Today i got call from my recruiter and she informed me that my offer letter will be revised . Prev the offer was 15.90 LPA . Now the revised offer contains 17.10 LPA . I was quite surprised with this behaviour .
