So how does the Uber PIN thing work at LGA? Whenever I request an UBER there, it just connects me with a driver. I don’t get a PIN for the cars queuing up.

Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I really do not want to manage nor be active. My goal is to log-in like once every 6 months.

I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. I made a couple errors at a new job. An important document to be distributed had wrong information on it, which was proofread by 2 other people. Then a couple of typos in emails, the person micromanaging me told me to send out but I didn’t fix the errors. Failed to meet a deadline but completed 95%. I was written up over all this last week, fired this week. There’s a lot more to this but I think it’s because the DM doesn’t like me.

Anyone knows what's the payscale for Big 4 auditors for SA and below? And how is the work at audit like lately? Heard the turnover rate is beyond extreme after the pandemic and there's no longer a non-peak?

Got a job offer from Standard Chartered Bank recently. Went through 4 rounds of interview and got an email saying I’ve been selected but they said it’ll take about 2 weeks to come out with even just a verbal offer? Is this common across banks in Singapore or are they just stringing me along?

A long post: seeking some perspective. My husband of 2 years that I’ve been in a relationship with for more than 8 years just woke up one day and told me that he’s unhappy in our relationship. I’m devastated because he’s never expressed anything like this in the 8 years. He’s been super supportive and loving, even when we were in a long distance relationship. I’ve asked her to give her perspective but she always defaults to mine bc she thinks I’m smarter/worldly. She feels intimated by me and my social circle. Lately, I’ve found myself thinking for her. I recently accepted an offer and joined Firm A. I am accepting a better offer next week with my preferred firmB. I understand that if I leave in 2 weeks, I will burn the bridge with Firm A. Would Firm B also not like that I joined A and left them too soon ?
