I got interviewed at KPMG and got positive feedback. I am offered consultant position and was asked to share my documents with expected salary. It has been 3 days now and no has called me negotiation any further. Is it normal that it may take this much time or is it possible they can close the position internally without giving me an offer letter?

I moved to the Netherlands 3 months ago on a spouse visa. Was working with EY-P earlier. I have been applying to jobs and giving interviews but for some reason things are not working out. I get a different reason everytime (after going through the whole process). This has never happened earlier in life and now I don't know what else to do. I’m relocating to the US from an international rotation to work in Galveston. I have never been to Texas and I am trying to find the best spot for my family to live in. So far from reading online it sounds like Pearland is a good option but I have not been able to validate that/ figure out what other options are out there. I would appreciate all advice:
