Morning. My husband wants to move out of state for a job, but I wouldn't be licensed there. I am ok with putting medicine on hold for a little while as he only needs to be there for about two years. If you were me would you work to get licensed in a new state or take advantage of a pause?

This one is challenging because of gender if you are a woman, but it all depends on how far along you are in your career in my opinion. If it wouldn't set me back and I wanted a break, I might take it, but if it would set me back absolutely I would work to get licensed or do long distance for a little while.

You just have to decide what your priorities are. You could take a break or consider working part time. Is this a compact state? Sometimes licensure can be really quick FYI.

I think that this also depends on which state you're moving to, since each one has different application processes and timelines. Two years is more than enough time for you to get a license and keep practicing. So I'd say it's worth if you're interested in continuing your work. What would you do otherwise?

If you're only going to be there for a few years, then it may not be worth the time and effort to get licensed. However, if you're planning on staying in the new state for a longer period of time, then it may be worth getting licensed.

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

Anyone else find themselves getting extremely stressed at work during pregnancy? It’s like my emotions are just off and I get so stressed so easily. I want to be calm for baby but it’s hard to not get worked up!

Hello All,

I have recently joined
FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.

Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?

Can anyone please guide?

My psychiatrist today revealed to me that I may have ADHD, still a hypothesis that he is still exploring but from my personal experiences and discussions with therapist, it seems likely.

One example of personal experience is my ongoing prep for case studies as I'm interviewing with a number of firms. I do struggle to keep focus and generally take a bit longer to finish them, specifically the structuring of the case. Does anybody else feel the same way and any recommendations to overcome this?

Anyone have a good therapist or therapy recommendation for the area?

I’ve been struggling with finding the right antidepressant. I started a few months ago but had really bad side effects and stopped (headaches, lethargy, nausea, inability to concentrate). The withdrawal is just as bad. I’ve noticed that I made mistakes when my mind was in a haze and just can’t seem to work. I think I need to find an antidepressant that works for me but I’m nervous it’s going to make work that much harder. Do I tell someone at my firm? If so, how?

Have any of you, your family, friends, etc. flown a similar route (I.e. from US to India via Europe) in the past week? If so, what is the arrival process (Covid test, quarantine requirements, etc.)? I’ve had all recommended vaccine shots and I’m only in Paris for a 2 hour layover (not leaving the airport). Any information on this would be greatly appreciated!

I was dating someone for about 2.5 years and then we broke up because of COVID and the long distance was making it too difficult to continue. The break up must’ve been like a 4-5 minute FaceTime because I was very distraught. After we broke up, she started seeing someone else but I was heartbroken and it’s taken me over a year to really get over everything and process those feelings. (Cont.)
