Rent a truck and movers to get the furniture on it and for $3K I would drive your damn furniture as far as Walla Walla lol
The uHaul pods are something you load up at home and gets shipped to your new place. You don’t have to drive. Depends how much stuff you are shipping but definitely cheaper than renting a truck.

West Elm/Pottery Barn etc does $25 for every $250 spent plus a $50 signup bonus. And 0% interest for 12 mos.
They advertise as either interest rate or rewards but I received both on a $5000 purchase.

I bought a couch, ottoman, and chandelier, and then coupled with sales and promos, got 3 light fixtures and a console table for free. And they have good service. Really happy with my stuff.
Amex platinum (they’ve offered a number of non-travel perks this past year, and it’s anticipated they will add more this year as well). Annual fee pays for itself. You could also get a 0% apr card for 18 months (I believe citó had an offering but there’s a bunch) so you can pay your 10k off over time interest free.

If you’re moving to a big city..Craigslist in the nice areas. You have no idea how often rich people redecorate and sell pristine designer furniture at like 30% of retail. I got an incredible small leather couch that was 5K for $700.
Agree with the 0% apr for 15-18 months cards. If you have CSR, look at the freedoms/freedom unlimited. Those cash back points can be converted to UR points (ie higher value).
SWA has an 80,000 point sign on bonus for 10k in spend. Can’t promise you’ll be able to actually use them anytime soon but 80k is massive.
