You will be able to date, but if you are looking for a new husband, your competition will be tons of single women who are childless. Your best bet is to date single dads, there’s a lot.
In addition, work on how to better yourself as an individual looking to get into another relationship with a new person. Try to work on some of the things that contributed to your failed relationship- this will open the door to a lasting relationship with another person.
A lot of people with kids move out of the city because the average home cost here is $2.7M and the average rent for a studio is $5k so there may be fewer people with kids, especially single parents, but it's a city of 8 M people.... so you have to consider fewer compared to where.
