I’d say decent. A lot of transplants so it’s a mixed bag. Idk what this other guy’s talking about but Raleigh is def left leaning. Definitely be sure to live ITB.
I’m “old” and married a long time, but I am chiming in to say that if you are young and single, you want to live downtown, somewhere near The Village District or Glenwood South, or near North Hills. Those are spendier as far as rent / purchase prices, but if you are much outside of that, you will have a suburban feel and need to travel every weekend to where all the social activities are.
Are u white? Then you’re fine. Also, don’t expect to have the same pool of women as people in the south won’t come from as impressive backgrounds nor care about the work the same amount
As I hear from my single friends, not amazing. But I think it largely depends on who you are and what you’re looking for. My single friends looking for ltr seem to be having a rough go. My single friends who just generally enjoy casually dating seem to be having a blast.
