You dont have to worry too much, soon all the clients will leave and you’ll both be unemployed.
Youre not thinking low enough. With leadership like this, you’ll have an agency that not only does bad work, but is utterly incompetent in 2 years or less.
So even if the client only wants bad work, they’ll get bad work + missed deadlines + cost overruns + legal mishaps etc…
Once you’re left scraping the barrel for talent, the agency death spiral is hard to escape.
It may just be a matter of time before you also become one of those people she "sets up"🤔
Great to make good money and be treated well, but hurts to see destructive behavior against peers.

This would never fly with me. I worked for an owner like this. She was manipulative, divisive, and controlling.
As a result, turnover was high. My tenure was 6 months and in that time period, 3 people left. Everyone would text (no one trusted Slack) each other on the side to vent. Everyone was looking for a new job.
There were 2 long term employees who were loyal - we referred to them as her minions.
The agency is still in business but at the end of 2021, had lost half their clients and only 2 people who were there while I was there are still employed. Everyone else found new positions.
We still have a group chat and check in with each other. Everyone is thriving. It really took a toll on our mental health so it's almost like we have a trauma bond. 😂
Is the agency satisfying clients and winning new work? Is the work getting attention in the trades?
There are scads of posts on FB from people complaining about wanting to go home at night. And at least everyone knows where the buck stops.
Is there a creative at a high level that fights for the work that the creative dept prefers? Like a system of checks and balance?
