My base location is Bangalore. I’m confused whether should I go to EY Bangalore or relocate to EY Pune. Both the place are far from home(mp)but Bangalore is more far and expensive. Can someone suggest should I ask for relocation to Pune or go once to Bangalore and explore as it has more opportunities and also to meet people I have worked with till now in wfh as they are asking to meet them once. With my partner we are considering making a move to the countryside of Switzerland, with a gorgeous RE project offering incredible views on immaculate mountains and lake. However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then. I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?
