Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. EY had a week off for the fourth. They’re prolly just behind.
Usually the recruiters get busy ;) they need a reminder from a SM/PPED. I got my offer 6 hours after I followed up with the partner.
Finally got the job offer yesterday😁
That happened to me at KPMG, they strung me along for a month. Saying they liked me after all the interviews and then no offer. I would check in week after week asking if I got it, they said they were waiting for a project to go through. It was the most bizarre interview process. In the end I cut my losses and went to Deloitte. Even after I came to Deloitte KPMG would call and ask if I was still available, and I’m like freaking make an offer..... the story ends with the PM meeting up with me and me telling him that I had left ACN and moved to Deloitte since the last time I talked to him at the interview and then I never heard from KPMG again.

Completely normal. I started mine in August, had final in person beginning of November with a similar verbal feedback (verbal offer as well the next day) but no written offer for a month.
Seems like all firms speed up their process if you have a competitor’s offer or final rounds lined up.. I got my EY offer quickly (within a week) bc I had PwC finals later that week.

Normal! Follow up with the partners/SMs that you interviewed with if you have a competing offer
Just follow up and say that you are finalizing career decisions. If you had a good interview a month ago it's totally fine to follow up.
It was year end for us at that time and then a week off for July 4th - definitely just follow up. Everyone is probably behind

Thank you manager1, I interviewed for a manager's position in the Advisory services practice. As of last week they are waiting for final sign-off
Wish I had other offers lined up
Thanks Manager3, my final interview with the partner was the best one. He is an ex Accenture MD and he hired my career counselor in Accenture back in 06 and he recalled that during the interview he also knew the MD at my last project. Two out of the three SM's we're also ex Adventure employees
