My friend is getting 'x lpa' in ABC company. He got an offer of x + 2,25,000 + 75k joining bonus from deloitte and joining date is on 3rd week of jan.

In current organization, Manager confirmed that, he will be promoting from SE to SSE (effective 1st December). Now he can see his promotion letter in company portal.

In Nov 1st/2nd week, he will get salary revision letter and promotion salary is effective from dec month.

Can he renegotiate his offer in 'D' based on the promotion salary?
