Coworkers come and go. Your husband is your partner in life. Ignore the funny looks. They don’t get how awesome he is. You do.
I agree! I think this is great advice.
Be glad you have a husband who thought to come see you and loves you enough to do so. He was trying to be nice and screw anyone who gave a look. He will be with you a lot longer than any of them. It was a nice thing to do and you should enjoy him and the visit!
Who cares what anyone thinks. He is who he is - no need to apologize or feel awkward about it. He must have been happy to have met everyone.
You love him despite his big energy (and maybe because of it at one time) - so why wouldn’t they?
This is so relatable because my husband i the same way. He is a chef so he has no idea about how corporate settings are. When he comes to my job he will look in our fridge and critique everyone's food.
Honestly I woudn't worry about it. No reason to feel embarrassed OP, I would tell my coworkers to suck an egg if they didn't like it. In the end their opinions of your husband should not matter.
Also could you ask your husband to keep it down a little bit more next time? Would he listen if you asked him?
Lol awww well it seems like his intentions are in the right place. I would say that you should just have a conversation with him. Tell him that there is a culture at your job and explain it to him. It will give him an idea of how to behave.
