Got an interview with Amazon within their Advertising department. I hear working for Amazon can be great if you get into the right department. Anyone have insights to their advertising department? Good or bad? Also, would love some interview tips if you have them! (It’s for an Executive Assistant position) thank you!

You draw the line when you don’t get compensated for the work you are doing. You are not evolving, you are backfilling
this is weirdly common in tech right now. the role you interview for and the role you end up doing are almost never the same thing. the real problem is nobody renegotiates the title or comp when the scope quietly triples.
This happened to me. with training folk & being the go to even for stuff I knew nothing about because they knew I would spend time working it out. Its the good old saga of do a task once & then it becomes yours forever! I ended up burnt out had zero recognition from management they didn't want to hear it & had no idea what was going on in the squads. Make a note of the extra things you do & a couple of examples & then raise it with your manager nothing is worth your health & its funny how this overload manifests itself into illness as well as feeling totally put on plus those extra areas you mention were once individual roles so you should be getting 3 damn salaries!
