My job is stable and pays decently, but I haven't picked up a new skill in over a year. I keep waiting for a reason to leave that feels urgent enough. Has anyone left a job that's comfortable but stagnant?

Why do you want to leave?

That’s the wrong question to ask. Rather, why haven’t you learned a new skill??? Believe it or not, is easier learning a new skill in your old job than a new one, no time constrains, plus shows initiative if you pick something new to try do or learn. Besides, in the future that new skill might open new doors.

Leaving a job to progress your skillset is totally valid but if I were you id see if I can try to change things in my current role before leaving. Are there people within your company that you see develop the skills you want or is it stagnant across the board?

My office location is in Marathahalli and offices are starting from Jan. I am shifting from Mumbai to Bangalore due to work demand. I will be moving with family. What would be the ideal location for me to search flat. I prefer gated community with amenities inside as I have small kid and can take her in the park than going out. How would the rent be? One of my friend has a flat in Ecity gated society with 25k rent. Where can I search for similar society within commutable distance. This is 20+km
