V20 NY, firm expectation is to bill 2K-2.4K a year. What happens if I bill 1800? How long until I get fired?

I can handle getting a talking to, or even getting berated. But when will real repercussions happen?

Fwiw, I’m a first year.

Considering an offer to go from firm (4 YOE) to become a privacy/product counsel for a tech company (non-faang). One concern for me is the potential of a recession in late 22 into 23 with the fed rate hikes. My fear is if that happens, me being on the chopping block as new in house counsel. If I stayed at the firm, I feel reasonably secure as an associate of not being laid off due to the market. How do in house counsel positions typically fare during lay off cycles? Any experiences to share?

What base salary/ total comp to expect for a Sr PM in Toronto in today’s market?

I was looking at PM roles only that were around $110k, one company approached me with Sr PM (title bump) at $110k. I’m getting scheduled for final interview loop next week with this company and planning to negotiate if an offer is extended from them. I did tell them that I’m at final stage with other companies so they can expect multiple offer situation from me. Advice?

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. The training is non existent, there doesn’t seem to be any initiative to invest in new hires, my manager scolds me for not knowing enough yet gives no direction. 3rd yr here in a mid size firm. I’ve been struggling in the mental health dept. I was on leave for 3 wks and have returned to work in June.
