While I’m excited for the role and learning opportunities it comes with, there is only a 3% hike in salary. I’d be working longer hours and giving up my unionized position, but on the other hand, senior management is supportive and willing to help me succeed. Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

DUSI is trying too hard to retain me by addressing all my issues and encouraging against me EY talking crape about their growth, opportunity and culture. Luring me into a counter offer and promising a promotion.

I told them I'm a flight risk employee now, why would you want to retain me, pay me more and promote when you know there is no surety of my retention. They're like they'll promote me first because a top performer is now a flight risk and they'll do anything to retain.

My first switch. I got an offer from KPMG India. I accepted that and after that I got an offer from Deloitte India. I didn't show the offer to Deloitte. Deloitte is giving a bit more extra in fixed part like 50K. Now I want to join Deloitte. Don't want KPMG to match or give more. But as I accepted the offer already I am thinking what would be the impact in future if I think to join KPMG someday.
