Any Aon pension actuaries who could help my friend understand the hierarchy of titles? Let’s say my friend has 10 years of experience, FSA and EA credentials, was a consistently high performer over his career, what would his expected title be at Aon within the core retirement actuarial business? Thanks in advance.

As a fellow mom who recently had 2 under 2, it could be both, but it’s not untrue either. It’s a fast time to have a second baby and take leave but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do either of those things. You do you boo.
I’ll say, it is hard to see the colleagues I transitioned work to now be awarded for their contributions but I have 2 amazing kids and that’s more important to me. There will be many more comments ahead of “wow so fast!” Or “weren’t you just on leave?” Or similar. You will not have time nor energy to care, so don’t waste the brainwaves now.
It’s passive aggressive but screw them, do you. You’re not doing anything wrong and it’s unfortunate that more people/companies aren’t more supportive of moms.
I think it depends on your coworkers. You probably know if they are the type to be passive aggressive or the type that are generally harmless. I wouldn't assume passive aggressive because time does fly, but could be.
I'm about to have 2 under 3, it just is what it is in terms of leave. It's a benefit of your job, utilize it
