Can someone in the EY-Parthenon Singapore office tell me more about the difference between the role of a senior associate doing valuation in the strategy and transactions team and the generic strategy team? Saw 2 job postings with one specific for valuation, modeling and economics, and another for just the generic strategy team. Would really appreciate if I can reach out to someone to have a chat about this. Thanks much!

Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Assistant director in EY is equivalent to Manager in Consulting, associate director on the other hand is considered as senior manager equivalent. Not sure about deloitte though.
We are talking about CF ranks, not CBS. CF AD @ EY is SM.
Do you work in Corporate Finance or something else?
AD would be SM. I'd go with D.
Tried to edit the post but couldn’t, just to add, if AD is SM, should I just take the role with the better title or are there massive differences in culture between the two firms that would influence the decision either way?

Hard to say, depends on your team more than the firm. Overall quite relaxed, good people, internal friction/politics between partners and teams tho but fine otherwise.
What is your background?
