Hi all, my H1B got approved today and I am waiting on the actual physical notice. In parallel I have a L2 EAD extension request in process. My H1B is valid from oct 1 only. How does H1B visa transfer process work? How long can I work for my current employer after my visa transfer for the new employer is approved?

Does it matter if I don’t meet the specific job requirements when transferring H1B? The job posted requires CPA license but I haven’t got it. The employer is still willing to hire me. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.

Would you be bothered if a colleague (peer or subordinate) went on vacation to the Caribbean for Thanksgiving, then decided to stay there and work remotely while his wife continued to vacation for another 2 weeks?
