Need salary advise/insights - I’m a tax senior 1 going onto my 2nd year and I’m looking for a change. I’m at a small CPA firm now in DFW area. Looking for change for better experience. I think I’m paid pretty well now and I’m not sure what I should ask for from prospective employers. Is 90K base too high in DFW area for senior? What have you managed to get if you switched as a senior? Also Bay Area salaries appreciated since I’m planning to move there soon, so am looking at jobs there as well.

I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

You have to do so much of it, and it's so annoying. You have to cite your sources, but there are so many different formats for citations! And then sometimes you don't even know how to cite something, and how are you supposed to know that unless you ask someone who knows? And even then, they might not be sure whether it should be an in-text citation or a footnote…
