Need some advice - considering to pivot into consulting as a FANG TPM. I’m using a friends account who work at McK to post in this bowl. I’m 5 years into my TPM and PM role in FANG - title is TPM but I do both product and program management with specialization in supply chain and AI. Getting really bored in my job and considering consulting. Maybe I can focus on tech clients? Would appreciate any advice.

Work environment is great, friendly and multicultural but I don't like the job at all.
Personal life is not so nice since I manage to see my family and gf every 30/45 days only. Colleagues have their own lives and at the end we don't hang out much.
My dilemma is:
A) going back to Italy at a lower salary with less growth opps but better personal life or
B) Switching my job here and hold on

I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I am being tapped to translate documents at work. I’ve done spot translation audits, and 1 larger Quality assurance document earlier this year, but was recently contacted about a potential large-scale translation initiative for next year.
