Need suggestions on giving notice. I've been at my small firm for almost 3 years, and I've expressed interest in making partner in the past. However, due to remote jobs opening up, I'm finding a lot of new possibilities for something I'm more interested. Would not be surprised if I had 2-4 offers within the next 2 weeks. I don't want to leave my old firm over staffed as they are extremely reliant on me. I will also definitely run into them again as I live in pretty small city. How do I handle?

What are the things that I should say as the reason to quit so that I face the least issues.

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be? For reference, the firm has a 1900 billable hour requirement and the partner said I would have “no problem” fulfilling that based on the work they have.

Can I waive into other UBE jurisdictions using my NY UBE license at any time? Or is there an expiration date for my bar exam score, after which point I won't be able to waive in?
