Our Philadelphia-area boutique firm whose practice works exclusively with nonprofits and charities is hiring due to growth. Tax is the basis of Exempt Org work. That is why I am posting here. Great practice working to further charitable missions of our clients. Good WLB (1300 hour billable requirement). Opportunity for the right person to work remotely. Been working with a dysfunctional team for years. And the reasons include the fear of accountability and absence of trust. This should be in my report though. Thanks for sharing.
That's good. Trust really is everything!
I really like this resource, I feel like I struggle a lot because I don't always have full trust/faith in my team
Would recommend Stephen Covey’s “The Speed of Trust” program to anyone look to work/collaborate/lead as such. Great representation of key behaviors— and does really well explaining the concept of “Counterfeit” behavior.
Communication is key! In my ten years of career, I haven't seen a team that performs well that isn't open to upper management.
I have worked in both! A good team and a dysfunctional team. Sometimes, dysfunctional teams have no solution. The best team is to change jobs!
It’s truly the most important attribute. Being a trusted colleague, and one who can reciprocate.
It’s also far more difficult than one might think.
