New manager salary in high col area Tax Senior associate to manager bump in high col area only went up 8.9% from 101 to 110k For those new managers, is this industry standard or lowball?

Unless you want to leave public not sure why you would subject yourself to the hell of big 4. I haven’t worked more than 50 hour weeks and have a decent work life balance

Should be double digit to manager. Just curious- why would you ever go work for Andersen Tax? Seems like the sun set on that franchise many moons ago. With no audit or advisory practice seems like the future is limited for them - no cross selling opportunities at all.
