PwC hasn’t laid off
Lay off as in let go of people called performance but really it’s laying off with severance and everything
Pro
EY was 1 week per year of service with a 4 week minimum. Extra $1000 to help cover cobra costs.
First part is the same but Deloitte has $5000 extra pay
KpMG has the 1 week per year of service with a 4 week minimum + 10% of base pay
It’s a year of service in the current role and has to be a full year I think
PWC hasn't had layoffs 😂
You’re right we haven’t had “layoffs” but we’ve had more performance based separations that many say are layoffs in disguise
It has been my experience that the last companies to head towards layoffs normally cut their work force severely. They wait so long that they are in deeper than the ones that did earlier lay offs and therefore have to cut more people than the rest did.
Any special packages to senior managers and above who are laid offf ?

RSM didn't have any layoffs either. We just had two rounds of performance cuts, one round of business need reductions, and also we gave the axe to various groups under the cover of darkness without a formal announcement. Definitely the best of the mid-tiers.
