I have done btech from govt College, got into a steel company. There, I got in touch with a fw consultants frm BCG, got inspired to become a consultant. Workd hard to get into an IIM (K) for MBA. Workd really hard to get consulting shortlist in internship but couldn't. In finals somehow managed to get into PWC. 3 years later got into ACN strategy. Now got an offer frm BCG! Finally dream come true! 😊

Can anyone recommend any resources/certifications for financial modelling? Looking for something comprehensive as I need to learn the skills, while establishing credibility as I wish to work in the industry, but have a degree in mechanical engineering and all my internships were in it. Also a CFA candidate if that helps in anyway (more information about my transition). Thanks in Advance.

IMO I’ve never seen more pharma jobs open. And I keep seeing so many people in non-pharma looking for new jobs... well, we’ve got them. What’s the disconnect? Why do you think people won’t make the switch?

I joined fishbowl a month ago and while I’ve seen a couple contentious debates but I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at how respectfully ppl comment on this app even when disagreeing. Usually anonymity on the internet brings out the absolute worst in ppl; they type things anonymously that they would NEVER say in person smh. But I really haven’t seen horrible comments here. Being in hero mode is good where you save the day, everyday - but in fact that is neither advisable for your progression nor a recommended practice for the firm. If you have been performing and have had decent social skills, you will not have burnt a bridge when you leave.

My manager told me that this year bel curve is reintroduced and due certain process change in scatter plot , difference is expected( its mentioned in mail also) but she has assured that everything is fine and promotion is also supported but due to bellcurve, normalization has taken place .rest they have given good feedback..any comments/suggestion?
